The decision to begin this 90 day transformation came at a time in my life when I knew my unhealthy choices were catching up with me. With a looming milestone birthday I was looking for a program where I could lose weight, tone my body, and create better habits. As I was scrolling through Facebook Solace Studio had placed an advertisement for a new at-home program. I took the plunge then and there and signed up for the program beginning August 1, 2014.

I began this journey with a plan, a positive attitude, and a willingness to change that my life desperately required. I knew if I was going to succeed I would have to strictly implement the workouts and the paleo diet. The first three weeks were the hardest. The workouts proved just how out of shape I really was. I completed them with no weights at all slowly working my way up to five pound weights. By the end of month two, I was able to complete the workouts with ten pound weights. I could already see and feel a difference in my body.

While I was expecting to see a dramatic difference in my body through this journey, I was happily surprised that other areas of my life were beginning to transform. Spiritually, I was growing day-by-day. The confidence I gained overall, in my abilities, and what I, as an individual, had to offer this world was becoming more clear and concrete. This whole journey has made me realize how much setting a plan in motion and walking the walk each day can change the course of life.

I have learned so much about myself; about my strength, about my shortcomings, but most of all how to love me for me. To keep moving forward during the times I felt like giving up. In the end…I finished. I finished this 90 day journey I set out to accomplish and I gained more than I ever set out to accomplish. I took a plunge, I walked the walk, and I came out on the other side stronger, and healthier than ever. I’m ready for the next 90 days.
